The starting point of the Kätkävaara nature trail is located in the 
yard of Kätkä Lake Lodge. 
The Kätkävaara nature trail guarantees that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy 
the rugged, beautiful scenery in Tervola! Kätkävaara's nature trail was renovated 
in 2021-2022, when the barrier-free trail, platforms and nature tower at the top of 
hill were completed. The protected area of ​​more than 80 hectares has plenty of 
valuable natural habitats, of which there is a comprehensive section along the path. 
the marked route, there are also three bbq-huts at the trail.

The route is 7 km long in total. 
The first 300 m is barrier-free from the long path to the grill house. 
A separate 750 m long barrier-free route goes around Perälammi. 
The nature trail is suitable for the whole family! Barrier-free services: 
barbecue hut, toilet and as well as two piers on the shore of Perälammi.
